Never heard of this before till now. There's a hidden room in Wacky Workbench where a statue will spawn rings for a few seconds if finds it. In the bad future said statue is replaced by Eggman and spikes rain down instead. Weird.

The other metro car you see in a previous section is a fully animated model, no NPC trickery here either. The green trigger box spawns in some ghouls, waits for you to look at them, then sends the train careening into them. I've made some additional script comments here as well.
