when i first designed Vipera, Stitches was just supposed to be a stuffed animal she carries around (pic 1 and 2), but now he's sentient, expressive, and he can move and think, but he doesnt speak! (pic 3 and 4)

I think I can point to the LoZ series, Specifically Phantom Hourglass and Minish Cap (Especially Akira Himekawa’s adaptation of it). Id try to copy the styles of these as a kid and it was the first thing that got me to draw people.
