Note:
Mixing human anatomy with wood textures to keep the idea rooted in realism. Added additional vegetation to make the elder seem more aged and beleafable as a ruler of the forest. Also , replaced the central "gem" with a void hole.

Note:
Melee variant of the troll, I added some adornments like a pauldron made from shields taken from fallen heroes. Strongman physique works quite well here and also experimented a bit with the skull shape.
