I like to keep it plain white. Or black. It gives a very strong contrast and it looks very pleasant. Other times I like to add small details, hearts, leaves, on an otherwise plain colored background. It feels so simple and so neat. Here is an example c:

I love how both Ozma 2.0 and Oscar have hazel eyes and tan skin. It feels right that the last reincarnation has paralleling traits with the first.

But also look at their hair colors. Ozma 2.0 has platinum blonde whereas Oscar has dark brown. They contrast each other, too.

I think the important thing with metal objects is to have a contrast between very light tones and very dark tones.
