SCAREDY CROW. Works in progresses. You can see the clear progression of confidence and refinement with each sketch. Just fuckin’ around with ideas. I like the third as it’s most dynamic. What you guys think?
More character art! I really enjoy this painting style, though I feel it needs refinement 😤😖

most artists: [spend years and countless amounts of time within the day to refine their artistic abilities and use it to express themselves when they can’t with their words]

The enstars Dream Live models look like less slightly refined versions of the MV models
highlights are about done!
I gotta refine the background more and add some more highlights and I'll be done!
I get asked a lot if I paint with or without lines and the answer is both? I do a lot of the colors under the sketch and then start to refine/shade/highlight on top
Here's a WIP example with:
base color layer shown | base layer hidden
More progress today! I flattened the layers and refined a little bit in some areas. I also gave the face a more 3D definition and started working on colours.
Don't know if I keep the lines or take them off, but I am currently working to take them off.

O yeah I completely forgot about this I’m kind of bored of it at this point though so I don’t think I’ll refine it 😅
I WANNA DRAW THEM IN ACTION! 🪓 ✨
HEY WAIT HOLD ON
THEY REALLY DID UPDATE HIS MODEL & TEXTURES (try to ignore lighting differences-- hes a bit smoother and his beard is refined/recolored, and his eyes are new!)
My princess still so beautiful elegant and refined a true goddess ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍👑👑
Artist's name: Daniel Ribeiro
bonus: the process of the Ka-3, from first rough sketch to first refinement pass to second refinement/detail pass to color
I think I am finally ready to refine this.
Fun fact about Hans: He is completely useless with out his glasses on, but never wears them in uniform. He rides on the fact people are afraid of him just by his stature, and fears that the glasses will damage that image. He’s a soft boy
Some days were great; almost fully-fleshed out pieces. Sure, they could be more refined, but for new illustrations churned out daily, they were doing alright!
Others were incomplete, like this. But it goes to show, even in the middle of a good run, you can still have bad days.
