The extraordinary painterly photographs of Léonard Misonne (1870 - 1943). A pioneer of 'pictorialism' Misonne was originally a mining engineer who was forced to change career to photography due to asthma. He invented many new printing techniques to create his dreamlike images.

Experimented with some shading techniques with the watercolor brush in SAI. Went with a more 3D-ish style.
