My today is a little different. This dress was a costume designed by Kathleen May, Maude Marsh & André- Ani for Norma Shearer in the 1926 movie Upstage. It is super Art Deco, with simple striking lines that look absolutely gorgeous

Today's is from 1911. A truly gorgeous evening gown that is made of satin with a yellow silk warp and a blue weft. The embroidery is made of golden metal thread with blue thread and blue glass beads.
