On very rare occasions, I draw like this. Often while @SkyArts Portrait Artist of the Year plays in the background. Somehow, that show really gets me into the right headspace whenever I'm drawing a portrait.

@ragon33 The way it maneuvers looks unreal, and the absolutely perfect angle with that beautiful CGI sky in the background. And that brief shine from the engine. It's a movie!

I don’t like the background...it looks good more or less by itself but how I paint people vs landscapes just don’t mesh well... also I struggle with planning out a background... any advice from fellow artists?

@VirtuaEnnis To get through Zoom meetings, I actually found GTA San Andreas ideal to play in the background. 😁 I only have to have a little bit of my attention on the game. And I won't become bored or sleepy, no matter how boring the conversation in the meeting gets. 😋

I’m CJ_hope and I draw colorful girls with long hair. But I want to start practicing more, so I can draw more than just portraits. Like for example my WIP, is an attempt at drawing a sort of environment background. ^^

I watched some tutorials how to paint nebulas and space with watercolors, so now everything and everyone (including Lalah Sune) will have that as background. 🤷

Made some edits after the fact. Gave him a lighter background for normal coloring in the original pic, and gave a slightly red filter for the sunset background. I think it looks better this way. :3
