The way Jojo is adapted now is more what you'd see with other anime, where they replicate the style 1:1 and just add color to it.

Part 3 was also really accurate but the anime designers quirks were more apparent, detailed metallic like shading, highlights, triangular look etc.

I've wanted to highlight this artist for a while now, but Imitation Crystal has some of the best melancholy storytelling I've see that take advantage of the medium they're in mixed with enduring characters and whimsically dark storytelling. I would consider them underrated gems.
