Day 584: Still very slow progress. Toying with ideas to streamline the process even further, but I feel like my issue is a combination of choosing colors and rendering. I gotta do more full pieces (or maybe semi-rendered rkgk?) to get quicker.

ouugggh this drawing was in the WORKS for a while, mostly due to uni but there was also a challenge in drawing a much bigger scale than i typically do
lots of texture photo-bashing and rendering i'm very happy with, the rainy atmosphere i did pretty well for a first try too uwu
@ComicsandCleave I like to think of drawing/painting as similar to sculpting to help give my forms 3D feel. Darker areas are “cut” into the page, lighter areas are like adding clay on top. Keeping in mind how light reacts with the forms is most important for rendering texture and everything else
