We would like to mention our sister campaign #NameTheTranslator. Translators rely on people knowing their names to get more work. If we’re fixing data, let’s credit them too! https://t.co/h93MQSG8bA

Due to recent issues with player data, we have temporarily shut down SHINOBI STRIKER servers in order to prevent save data corruption to our active playerbase. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will inform you as soon as the Servers are back.

@WilliamBabey @Paleojim Thanks! Probably won’t redo this one specifically, as it was a commission (and I rarely have time for big detailed pieces like this anymore). But I have done a rendition of Utahraptor based on the new data, here.

"Draknian Telepathy"
Another lovely piece by @JHarper141 on the Draknian species series, showcasing how Draknians may use their telepathic abilities, in this case, to examine, gather data, and study objects.

UPDATE: Skullgirls Mobile servers are NOW LIVE! Thank you so much for your patience over the last couple days! For the full breakdown of what happened, and the current status of your save data, PLEASE read this post: https://t.co/KDbqUenYXR
UPDATE: Skullgirls is still down, but we're making excellent progress and hope to re-launch the game on late Monday. For news on what this means for your data, and compensation for the downtime, please see this thread on our forums: https://t.co/lqG9l1mmGu
For US census block data, I think assigning the populations to the polygon boundaries makes a lot of sense (vs. a choropleth), since these people usually live on streets.
I've noticed that we often restore the babies of extinct animals with proportions much like our own tubby, dumpy offspring. This doesn't always fit fossil data, as evidenced by surprisingly leggy Protoceratops hatchlings (snout-vent c. 10 cm). #paleoart #dinosaurs
New blog post for #FossilFriday: Can we predict the horn shapes of fossil animals? Perhaps, with enough data, we have more insight on horn sheath shape than we realised. Stars Triceratops, because it's a post about horns. Also features new #paleoart!
