AI is just a tool. You wouldn't protest a brush or a camera, would you? A camera takes all the work away from portrait painters, and Photoshop takes away the jobs of manual photo editors. Anyone can gen an image, it still takes skill to make them look good!

I see a lot of arguments about AI generated images not being art. “The machine does it for you.”

Well, that is not completely true.

Sure, the AI creates the final image, but it’s us who put in the prompt and direct it towards a specific direction.

I tried to design sicko's image, sort of a looper rabbit, with a whale cape on the back because hex said his lowest note was only audible to whales and thought it was a good idea to add it.

I definitely have an idea of where I want to go, but I can't project a clear image onto the page, I need to figure it out on the page.

My drawings all start like the first image, and then I just keep redrawing, adjusting and refining it till it's done
