Skydreams' special talent is flight. Since she's a unicorn, it manifests as talent with the mechanics of flying machines (airships mainly). She also studied how pegasi fly, and used her knowledge and talent to create a set of magitek wings which she uses to fly herself.

These sprites, while impressive, don't do a great job of conveying the scale of these machines. The flying fortress "Vahrstor" below comprises an entire level of the game, requiring the game's screen to dramatically pan over it's bulk. Would KILL for an art book. ⤵️

Sonic The Hedgehog: Tails' 30th Anniversary Special
This was a cute little book that gave me surprisingly good insight into Tails who I feel like was stuck in the "Donatello does machines" spot in the IDW comic for the most part. I loved Carrottia btw, bring her back.
