absolutely wonderful thread. Adding the animated Metropolis movie to the mix as an industrial-pipe-matrix feast for the eyes. It's directed by Rintaro, written by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Madhouse, and loosely based on a Tezuka work+the 1920s film of the same name.
