creating a culture of transparency is how you help protect these newbies from bad actors

do this by normalizing sharing and asking for WIP and details about how the art was created

i dont care if someone takes an old statue and photoshops it on a red circle, just be transparent

Thrown Out the Window (R Code)

This code sketch uses a flow field to create rectangles connected by visible and invisible waves.

Wave functions controls size, line width, & transparency.

A cliff structure with waves that undulate and fade.

I really dislike my last drawing of Elena, and inspiration sparkled for me to try to make up for it. It's still mostly me testing different takes on stylization, but the transparency effect in specific was a huge pain. Overall, I think the result is good.

I think it's time to go further with the material-change part of my mod, specially for ghost and metal Pokemon.
Here's a quick edit I made to Haunter, added transparency and a red outline to the hands, resembling the old sprites.

The rest of the setup is "composited" in the viewport, nothing crazy just some meshes and transparency tricks (e.g. for cutting the text out of the black bar, it's one object with the text in front and "Show Backface" disabled)

As Volumetric Lights for Oculus Quest is way too expensive, We decided to implement some handmade light "rays" with Cutout transparency and a little movement by shader. Do you like the results?

Man, I’m devastated by the accuracy of edge-detection AI here.

It’s a OnePlus wallpaper, and iOS 16 Lock Screen algorithm is able to distinguish the glass edges of that object, resulting in 3 layers of transparency.
