I genuinely really like this because like.... Judai is MC of the series, sure, but he hasn't always been The Hero, and even before Haou he had done some things that would have qualified as this, I think (like his original Hero complex, as called out by Edo in S2)

I have a complex, almost lovehate relationship with this image. Originally I wanted it to look more flat and luminous, more stained glass-like. But it's still one of my favourite things I painted this year, and the gold effects turned out BOMB AS HELL so I'm still very proud
