Nobody knows exactly what Blue Boy or others with similar structure are exactly, just describing them as "thingamajigs" and/or "whatchamacallits".
They're (in canon) some kid's doodles that have no concrete information behind what they are.
X-Rays are also wildly inconsistent...

My skin colour changes depending on how much sun exposure I get consistently in a period of time
