Maxfield Parrish was born in Philadelphia in 1870 and died in New Hampshire in 1966. Norman Rockwell called him "my idol." This is 'Sheltering Oaks' from 1956.

I just listed my 2021 holiday card! Philadelphia has wonderful holiday traditions, but my favorite is the jolly trolly on Baltimore Ave. It's magical! When you're standing in the cold waiting for your trolly, and it pulls up in lights and wreaths, it just makes your day better!
