Just been busy doing boring stuff like redrafting the bodice pattern into a princess seam, mocking it up and then, feather shopping 👀
I can't decide which one. If I got the patterned one, I'd mix it in with plain black feathers. But in leaning toward the 3rd ones
There's this one gacha game with pretty character art^^ I also can't get from how the last one kinda reminds me a bit of a rooster or something.. It's probably the tail feathers.
@EbonyGorilla Heavily detailed wings like that, yeah most definitely. Just learning to get wings down was hard enough, but I take a lot of shortcuts when it comes to feathers. Fortunately, the dragons in these comics mostly have membraneous or furred wings to better expidite the process.
Hi! Recently, I got a new iPad, so I’ll probably be drawing more! I’ll probably redo commision prices in hopes of getting work. Anyways, here’s a drawing of https://t.co/MRQaGm2BeH in a cute lil outfit :3 The line art was done with a pen that feathers. This or smooth lines?
Birds of the park, and elsewhere: Structural absorption by barbule microstructures of super black bird of paradise feathers.........https://t.co/RIzt0IKQo6 (Open access) (Images: BHL)
had weird dream that they made a Bird Skin for tracer that was like rainbow macaw looking but the most important part is her tufts had lil.. lil sprouty feathers..
@_CrystalColors_ I usually stay away from feathers and use other qualities that character has, like my Jayfeather design doesn’t have feathers...instead it has star marks to give off a dream vibe, something else he’s known for. I’m not against feathers as long as it’s not on the head or ears
Who killed cock Robin?Sadly I think the cold snap & lack of food was to blame. This young male was skin & bone under his fresh young feathers. We found him lying on his back on the new path at the end of the farm far from the bird feeders. Life is hard for little birds in winter
@freckledOctopus Drawing rounded hair/fur/feather shapes. Almost every single art piece I draw nowadays has rounded hair/fur/feathers.
@dorkuto I wished the colors would look like on the paper xP ~ but finaly could use my new pencils 💖😊 aren't they cute? I got a little carried away doodling the flowers , waves and feathers. Both doodled a heart on each others cheeck x3
Ugh this image gets reposted without credit so much. This is a feathered T. rex I painted in 2014. No it is no longer a current view of the animal. Current research suggests T. rex was sparsely covered if at all by feathers.
If you want to repost it, just link to me please. 🙏
More skull island! This time flying lizards, one that has "convergently evolved" feathers.
We also have one of Skull island's centipedes. The biggest on the island that kills and eats juvenile animals of any species.
For the ruddy duck #oiloncanvas that I am working on, I started adding details to the white tail feathers. #art #painting #wildlifeart #duckart
Webbing was on my list for tonight. I added some foot and leg details to the ruddy duck's foot / leg and started adding a bit more dark shadow to the lower tail for preparation in adding the lighter lower tail feathers. #oiloncanvas #painting #art #artist #duckart #wildlifeart
15. For #25DaysOfTyrannosaurs, let’s introduce #Dilong, the emperor dragon. Discovered in China, Dilong was a small #tyrannosaur that lived during the early Cretaceous, and shook the foundations of theropod and tyrannosaur study with its preserved feathers. Art by Alex Lovegrove
#DnDcharacter concept? A lazy Air Genansi Bard who uses their at-will Levitate spell to conjure a cloud that they like to laze on. He has a lax personality and uses his Bardic charm to deescalate tension or utilizes his magics to achieve this goal. Collects feathers.

#FurryAndProud is trending, and that ruffle some peoples feathers.
But the majority of responses are actually pretty nice.
Glad to be part of this group.
