The “it’s a kid show” argument doesn’t hold up. A lot of kid’s shows use fat characters as a gag or have a fat villain.

the show could’ve used henchman’s weight as a joke, but they didn’t because they have other ways to make the show funny that aren’t fatphobic.

I'd love to see a season 2, but completely overhauled. New actress, new show runner, new writers, and so on. They could even break the 4th wall and mention the change in management. Skaar's still around but he'd look more like the comics. John Byrne cameo. No one would complain.
