I can read any comic now and tell almost immediately if it was lettered by . His understanding of the craft is on another level. It may sound hyperbolic, but it's like watching a movie and being able to tell it was scored by Hans Zimmer.

Most modern manga have dialogue lettered digitally in Japan, but being from the 80s, Transformers is all analog. And that means any text elements you see within the pages themselves had to be erased/retouched by hand.
