CABLE AND X-FORCE #13: After making quick work of a Lovecraftian beast, X-Force head to Avengers Mansion to break Cable out of custody. Hope learns the ins-and-outs of Cable’s precognitive abilities, courtesy of Blaquesmith, her future self, and a reconfigured Deathlok.
CABLE AND X-FORCE #12: The opening captions, “Zurich... Sixteen hours before the demonic possession of Switzerland”, is a pretty good indicator of what Domino and Colossus are trying to prevent by stealing an evil artifact from a bank vault. Meanwhile, Hope explores the future.
CABLE AND X-FORCE #11: Domino and Boom-Boom liberate a burgeoning mutant from a hospital before his powers erupt, bringing disaster. Plus, Hope has been projected into the (possible) future by Blaquesmith to explain why he’s been causing Cable’s prophetic visions.
CABLE AND X-FORCE #10: Cable’s apocalyptic visions keep stacking up so deep that he can’t see how to get out from underneath them, and so he’s forced to delegate. On top of that, the Uncanny Avengers are in hot pursuit of X-Force, and Hope seeks out answers.

As much as I love AOA, I think this was my least favorite of the titles. Such a dramatic departure from X-Force, and so much going on that I don’t think I understood the first time. I do like the cast tho!

The rescue of the Terra Verden President’s son goes wrong. Writer Benjamin Percy, Artist Stephen Segovia, Colors GURU-eFX. Percy relies a bit too heavily on Beast’s internal narrative to drive the story, not allowing Segovia’s art to carry more of it. 3.5/5

CABLE AND X-FORCE #9: Following X-Force’s escape from SWORD custody last issue, the Uncanny Avengers are on the hunt for them. The closest they get is Hope, who is determined to help Cable whether he wants it or not, and has a few new tricks up her sleeve.
CABLE AND X-FORCE #8: X-Force spring Kliktok the Cruel out of prison in order to prevent Cable’s apocalyptic vision from coming true, & nearly all of them are immediately taken hostage by the alien as a result. Cable & Colossus, however, are captured by SWORD, who wants answers.
CABLE AND X-FORCE #7: Cable and Cyclops have a heart-to-heart, Domino offers Colossus freedom, Forge and Dr. Nemesis steal a spaceship, and Boom-Boom fights an alien that she’s trying to break out of jail in order to save the world. Just a typical day for X-Force!

UNCANNY X-FORCE #4: Bishop catches up to Ginny and is prepared to do the unthinkable, but a psychic bond shows Psylocke that Bishop is not alone in his head—a revenant has taken hold of him. Plus, the Fantomex trio lurk in the background.
UNCANNY X-FORCE #3: Bishop is hunting Ginny, whose powers are the real drug that Spiral was selling in the club. Puck wants to turn Spiral over to Wolverine and call it a day, but the others are determined to find Ginny before Bishop can catch up to her.
