i guess it technically might be possible, I'd just have to think about how the paint bleeds in and making sure the grain is distributed differently for each color. i think it would be a little hard though , too many imperfections to account for

I didnt actually change the colors too much but it seemed to help more by switching back to how I shaded by using grays handle the values first before adding color.
I'm pretty happy with this result for now. ^^
