Back to characters for a bit, this batch combines the 1st generation posted a few weeks back into a new generation. Lots of rough edges and unresolved bits but more than ready to be put into environments and customized :)

AGAIN BOTW is the closest to SAO in terms of aesthetic. The lighting, the textures, it's not dead on but it's as close as anything has ever been. SAO has always looked incredible in their environments and use of color, to try for realism would be a sin.

I'm thinking about keep designing some Golden Sun characters or environments. For the moment, my predilection has been Mars: Menardi and Prox. Maybe Djinns or inside lighthouses' scenes could be next🤔

The other quick concept for one of a couple of environments I want to make in 3D at some stage.
I suffer from having done pretty much exclusively top down-turn based-grid based environments for the last 4+ years for work so breaking my brain out of that is a whole thing
