Another design created later got rid of the armor gimmick and made it just a robot that just transforms from a fossil. I think a lot of these designs where in reaction to Bandai's Rocklords so they where prepared to act if it was popular concept.

Select each beam separately, and blur them one by one in the direction they are facing.

Make the distance relatively far, but not too far to get rid of the colors completely!
