2009 VS 2022
I actually have pics of me at 1 year old drawing, I ALWAYS made art, but decided to scare you with my first ever digital drawing (that looks like that cause I was BAD at drawing directly with an Intuos orz) VS one of my most recent ones ❤️#jjk

For I figured I’ll show about a years worth of progress since starting up digitally ^-^ so start of the year versus now! It goes to show that you’ve gotta start somewhere 😂 here’s to more improvements!

I've been drawing since I was 3 and cataloguing most of it, so this in 5 year increments.

2016 v 2022

I spent a lot of years being not very good at art, struggling to wrap my head around form, afraid of perspective and drawing backgrounds, and... I'm still afraid but I keep practicing and studying

2010 vs 2022. I think the 2010 drawing was one of my very first digital pieces, drawn on a Wacom Bamboo with Corel Painter.

talent is a myth and sucking at something is the first step to being good at something. the old piece physically makes me cringe for so many reasons 😵‍💫

2002 vs 2022
There is no gatekeeping art, anyone can pick it up, start creating and have fun! You get better with hard work and practice, not by stealing other people's work and letting a machine do it for you.

And I won't stop practicing! 😤

2 years into my journey vs present.
The early days are excruciating (they haunt me to this day), but you can improve! Don't quit on yourself! 🧡

It really is only a matter of continuing to keep at it.
