Sketching and painting this scene took longer than I'd like to admit, and it can be better probably, but I'm kinda happy with the background. Learning digital is still fun.

Admittedly, these mockups look a little weird without shadows , but it's sometimes better for me to have precise reference to work off of. Vyse's face design changes a lot between the original illustrations. Somewhat challenging to "solve". Sculpt is going well, which is nice.
