-flat colours have some texture on em
-there's an overlay layer ontop with a brighter orangeish-yellow with quick strokes that are erased with the same brush
-a LOTTA post processing put on top haha

The second one is an older picture, so most improvement comes from a year of improvement, but the video did help a lot too- Color and silhouettes most notably.
Working with a brighter palette should help my comic lots in the long run, and hey, you can tell my characters apart!

idk how to explain uhhhh, I create a layer and fill it with the dark color so the art will be darker, and then create another layer, use the brighter color, blur it ;w;
