Galar Winners 2: Grimmsnarl and Rillaboom!! I'm definitely surprised that Grimmsnarl is so popular! I barely hear about him. Rillaboom making it at all is a relief, I got nervous scrolling by the end. Glad they did well in the end!

As well as my game book, I’m working with on a 140-page graphic novel called BPM: Beatdowns Per Minute. It’s a tribute to side-scrolling beat em ups set in 1992, about a pair of cops taking on a crime syndicate :D

Tonight I've been playing 64th Street: A Detective Story for my scrolling beat-em-up book. This one is by Jaleco, and came before it started the Rushing Beat trilogy on SNES.

It has some genuinely hilarious speech samples and a neat background throw mechanic.

Today's write-up for my scrolling beat-em-up book is the glorious Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara (1996). One of the deepest (if not THE deepest) side-scroller ever made. So many systems and features, branching paths and things to enjoy.
