this year we going the witch route. Still quite a bit of rendering left but the idea is laid out. These are ridiculously fun to do and prob my fav way to do portraits.

lots of texture photo-bashing and rendering i'm very happy with, the rainy atmosphere i did pretty well for a first try too uwu

I like to think of drawing/painting as similar to sculpting to help give my forms 3D feel. Darker areas are “cut” into the page, lighter areas are like adding clay on top. Keeping in mind how light reacts with the forms is most important for rendering texture and everything else
