Was digging around in my old-ass art folder. 2017 was an interesting time for the fandom, and culturally, I guess. Back then this picture did the rounds for a while. Both the positive & negative reception to it was interesting, it definitely sparked a conversation.

Day 42: Some 6 fold symmetry in orange. Some interesting negative spaces in this one! I used the mid point tool quite a bit in this. I like the slender kites that make up the central star.

I love white/negative space in my work, and it’s possible to incorporate that! I would hope no one thinks these are whitewashed! But I didn’t paint either of these lovely folks brown, and incorporate white space, but you can tell they are dark!
