The swans & baboon by C.M. Kosemen are also the most popular/consistently viral illustrations from All Yesterdays. Not strictly paleoart, but definitely gets "regular people" thinking in the right direction

Hope you enjoy them!
I certainly had fun making them!

Love, your paleoart community

Vacation = painting and painting some more
Sinosauropteryx WIP

My recent baby tyrannosaur gave me the painting bug, so here's the very, VERY early rough stages of a new WIP. I might try more varied perspectives after more practice, but for now I find profile poses to be a comfortable outlet to experiment and learn in.

Another one eats the dust
Another one eats the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one eats the dust…

Ovatiovermis was described recently-ish, from the Burgess Shale. It ate dust.

My submission at Concurso Internacional de Ilustraçao de Dinossauros. I wanted to depict a group of Kairuku grebneffi, swimming alongside to Megalampris keyesi. A snapshot from a submerged New Zealand of the Oligocene.

Tyrannosaurus Rex sketches based on the old-school reconstructions from my childhood dinosaur books - and a bit of inspiration from Don Bluth's The Land Before Time too; one of my favourite films!

How many people would be interested in an informal meet up & sketch day at the , looking at & sketching modern animals from a perspective?

If so, which day is better, Thursday or Friday?

Nouveau design de badges pour !
Le Yi qi est un dinosaure réel, malgré ses airs de dragons. Ce dinosaure chauve-souris méritait toute notre attention ! N'hésitez pas à venir en parler avec nous sur notre stand (P666) 🥰

Okay. You asked, I did it, even though it was hell to draw.

Acinocrinus stichus, “row of thorny rings”. This was a giant “Collins Monster” type Lobopodian, extremely tank animals. Acinocrinus took this to a new level.

More to come soon.

Another WIP, slowly getting there with the little tyrant. Still very messy and unrendered (I feel very out of practice), but it's gradually building towards something I'm relatively happy with. I'm not looking forward to the legs.

A very early WIP of a baby tyrannosaur. If you can't tell by the very messy strokes, it's been many years since I've attempted painting. I'm having to relearn a lot of skills, but it's refreshing to take a break from technical drawings and 3D models.

Aphetoceras, a free-swimming, bottom-dwelling nautiloid from the Ordovician. The 1st artwork I ever shared to social media!

Amargasaurus! I took a bit of liberty and gave it a long tongue like giraffes have!

Another paleoartist who deserves a ton of Twitter followers imo: !!! His style is so full of character, and I don't think I've ever been as flattered as when he gave my Zygophyseter the same treatment. https://t.co/8VjFh76ugY
