This drawing of Saint Cecilia hangs above the stairwell in the Evergreens, and was acquired by the Dickinsons after Austin’s death. The patron saint of musicians, a halo floats above her head as she looks downward — perhaps keeping watch over those who step foot in the Museum.
Wanted to do a quick drawing test, I've been wanting to practice toespreads, so I wanted to give it a shot, I did an alt, which was another test, a extreme foot sweat and mugginess test😆 I need to keep practicing, they turned out OK, but, I need more practice.

also looking at the previous pic, we can see that themis is pretty much always depicted as a woman (blindfolded or not we will talk about that later), holding a sword and balance scales. under her foot are a snake and a book.

Sometimes you're a punk-roc on stage singing your heart out against the world. Sometimes (with a little help from @ShallicWuff) you're just a 6 foot tall plush with a large beanbag belly you pull people into and cuddle. Just don't get too lost in those eyes.

I think this is the best foot I've ever painted ever haha. Here's some stills.

OTD 1597 Lord Burgh finished the Blackwater Fort. It was a square earthwork with bulwarks mounting cannon captured from Tyrone. Garrisoned with 2 companies of foot led by Capt. Thomas Williams, Burgh called it an eyesore to Tyrone, it was really a hostage to fortune #nineyearswar
