Airy has a rat as friend, the rat's full species name sounds something like wet long ear rat(?) I'm not sure (ミミナガヌレネズミ, Miminaganure nezumi), its calling name is Natsu. It was given to her by Ronie.

Ear fin wiggling usually means thinking/listening for other mers. For Melone it means he’s about to be a menace and Prosciutto recognizes this. Quick whack of the tail cuts that idea short. 😌😱😈#jjba
