The wood on its own looked pretty good and fractured well. But the base structure didn't interact with booleans at all. Nothing seemed to work to fix it except for remeshing it with a VDB. It was a lot better already.

This "street creature" (Ronto), perhaps the strangest of the bunch. Don't ask what's going on with the tail. I recall pitching it as hard shell, like that pink plate like structure around the mouth. Ballpoint, colored pencil, design marker, correction fluid on copy paper. 1994

And Garbodor clearly had a lot of thought put into its design. Compared to Muk which is just "Grimer, but bigger", Garbodor has grown so large that its trash bag casing has burst in several places, and it has a bodily structure, as shown by the piping for its arms.
