I made this background just sort of noodling around with a lot of different "magic" brushes, and I really liked it. Problem: Binghe vanishes into it. I tried a whole bunch of different filters, but eventually my solution was to put a contrast light behind them.

Recently I kinda thought about how the art that @/Anistrae drew for me (for various occasions, bless her heart I'm forever in her debt) sort of makes a bit of a storyline-

Years ago I had an idea for a story in which an ordinary family moved into a town where everyone was some sort of creepy "Halloween-type" character. I envisioned their house as being sandwiched between haunted-house-style residences.
