Heres to throwing my hat in the ring, some pieces of an experimental comic I hobby on that main in attempting different styles of line art, color, etc. I will say my favorite in illustrating is the scratchy thin pencil or splotchiness, thought that might be what you're goin' for.

Here's my take.
I usually try to make scepters round looking and giving it a metallic shine. Having a light source that isn't centered will make the drawing have some more depth, Though the wings are difficult to do since they should look a bit flat, but also not paper thin

- I don't have the OG picture of Kasumi, but the closest I have (besides the old LBP costume) is the old thin ref I had.

Case and point- Kasumi gets altered based on my tastes. She was always meant to be hefty but I sucked at drawing robust bodies at the time.
