Some progress. The back hair layers are really something I underestimated as they represent also the 'mid layers'. Needless to say, i'm experimenting with different styles and shapes.

Even experimented a little bit with making it asymmetrical!

these are definitely more simple than my other work but it was nice experimenting with simple things! :)

Hmm, the shading assist doesn't work too bad on simple shapes but it can get confused by more complex designs. Only just started experimenting, need to try more.
