For all of their faults story and continuity-wise, I do feel the animation in the Disney direct-to-video sequels did improve with the artists staying faithful to the look of the theatrical films. I don't think they get enough credit for that.

I'm actually very excited for Luca and Turning Red. Turning Red is being directed by Domee Shi (very exciting!) and Luca just looks so charming. Soul felt like PIXAR's step out of their comfort zone and it gave me hope for the future of its films. I hope this keeps up!

It'd be neat to see more Kong backstory in the films. I haven't read it, but the comic Birth of Kong established that he was pretty much Bruce Wayne-d.
