this is just unpleasant to look at, I understand how a color palette works but it's like the only tones they know to work with are red, yellow/orange, pink, and grey. You NEED other colors to break it up, especially if you're going to have a design that is THIS cluttered.

It seems so. Sokka, Kya, and Korra's dad all have blue eyes. The only exceptions are Hama, the bloodbender/puppet master, and a few of the swampbenders. And even then all their eyes are grey.
