I’m the Bearded Halfling and I think there needs to be more historical influences in TTRPG.
I’m currently writing a guide for people to set their own campaigns in a world inspired by the Aztecs.

"Hide n' seek" might be one of the oldest games in the world, dating back to the 2nd century BCE. In Greece, it was called "apodidraskinda", and played much the same way we play it today.

It may be that it teaches young children to hunt, track, and yes, hide.

Daffodils get their Latin name from the Greek myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection.

The flower in the legend was probably this one, the white and orange Narcissus tazetta, known to have grown in ancient Greece.
