love it, I can totally see (smell) that! specially the Spanish neo-impressionists like Sorolla 🍊🍋
fun fact, I was painting this years ago and suddenly I smelled something familiar, one of the greens was exactly the same colour of a pen I had as a kid, and I could smell it!!

Artists always been funny mfs
Manet of the impressionists was commissioned to paint a bundle of aspharagus.
Upon recieving payment he was given 1000 francs rather than the agreed 800.
In thanks, he made a second smaller piece with a note saying "There was one missing "

Hah! Here’s some old art when we were 15/16 years old! You can tell by the art shifts that we looked at a lot of artists in animation since that’s all we had in terms of art sites! A lot of Nico Marlet in here too! Then impressionistic painters later down the line! Weird haha

The French Riviera had attracted Impressionist and Fauve painters such as Monet, Renoir and Matisse in the middle years of the Third Republic. John Lavery retraced their footsteps in 1920 and painted his wife Hazel on the balcony of the Eden-Grand Hotel at Cap d’Ail.
