The inconsistency of my shading was bothering me. It was both unfair to my clients and made me feel bad about my work. I'll be using an approach more comic-like, thicker lineart with bright colors for everything. But, if you're curious, these are other of my works:

most of my non-human OCs humanized, some of them are missing cuz I never finalized their designs or thought of them (they look kinda weird because of my pure inconsistency), also, Mixer Maxer looks pretty fucking Jacked lol

That's the thing, I don't actually think they look bad most of the time! Juanjo Guarnido is a massively talented artist and he clearly puts a lot of love into his work, the inconsistency just bugs me on a personal level lol.
To explain this fairly minor inconsistency brought about by 17 speaking lines originally written with Lunch in mind, Super introduces the idea that 17 was conscious while inside Cell and heard Goku’s voice that way (18 in contrast seems to have slept through the Cell Games)
