@vumvdr @SanekoGato I’ve a hunch that this particular drawing was early concept art for Tails. We can also see a back view of this Tails in the Japanese manual for Sonic 2. And compared to the final design it lines up more closely to one of his inspirations, proportions wise
I don't talk about this often but one of the biggest inspirations for my animated series Defenders of Alodia was @boltcity's AMULET. One of my favorite sci-fi fantasy comics EVER. I have been in love with these since I was a kid, finding the first book in my school's library.
