a little tidbit on the honorifics in REEDS - I ended up "localizing" a lot of it in my head, lol. in our language, younger men should refer to any older man (including unrelated) as "elder brother" (tij laug). I chose to translate it to terms like "sir", "mister", etc

i did a little googling on my fav vento aureo volume cover and found that the flowers resemble anemone flowers.
it's neat bc i found out in greek mythology, they can mean "death of a loved one" or "arrival of spring." while in basic flower language, they can mean "forsaken love."
