My Patrons voted for Merfolk x Pirate in the poll, so I give you:
🏴‍☠️Transmasc Pirate (he/him)
🦈 Nonbinary Great White Shark Merfolk (they/them)
One of the most fun illustrations I’ve done this year, I wanna draw more Queer Romance

My beloved merfolk boy Ikal's face claim is Herald of Secret Streams, by Sara Winters. He has more green mixed in with the red/hot pink, to give him a very vibrant look. Seafloor Oracle by Simon Dominic and Kopala, Warden of Waves by Magali Villeneuve are other big influences.

Legend says that amongst the regular merfolk exist mereels! Harold is finding out what life is like for them first hand

Was in a Merm Mood:tm: and decided to give Harold a Fish form like Voxel and Pixel! Mereels are a favourite concept of mine that I need to draw more off
