Shading finished on one guy! I used a greyscale of his color palette to make sure I toned the shadows correctly. second is the orig colors. Next step is the overlay layer to give life to the shading!

I was stressed doing Odallus and decided to play a shmup to relax the result:
- added extra details on mother ship
- improved some textures (I think I'll change a lot more)
-restored the ship self shadows
- rebuild the jets and etc

End of it all, I played nothing!

genuinely though with higurashi the orig visuals of these extremely 2000s sprites and the filtered photo bgs are sooooo much more compelling and charming to me than making it just look like any other vn... honestly i find the background redraws way more offensive than the sprites
