Then I went back to photorealism for a spell. Instead of "looking at the sky" which caused heads to be tilted WAY up, I prompted "looking at the Andromeda galaxy." Faces were more evenly posed, though still upward. This also added what I assume is NASA/Hubble imagery.

Gotta say that 3+1 poster is really something, the photorealistic touch drives it hard for me.
Feel like all Eva posters are really simple or minimal in contrast with the content inside.🤔

Absolutely! Midjourney is really the only competitor to Dall-E 2 right now, and while it often struggles to make "literal" or photoreal results (you can make it with enough prompt engineering!) It excels at art, and is phenomenal at replicating styles.

I’ve been nominated by @.IsaIllustration in an Art Challenge to post my Artwork for 10 days and nominate another artist to do the same.

Day 6: My first attempt at photorealism. Fell short of the mark, but I'm still happy with it.

Today I nominate - an awesome artist!

Here is midjourney's take on "artwork by mike campau" and "a dark streetscape with neon lights, by mike campau". midjourney isn't great at photorealism, but it does appear to know of you in some sense.

I'll ask DALL-E 2 when I have credits available again

"a photorealistic mythical dragon living in a forest, beautifully photographed by an award-winning wildlife photographer" gives plastic results at best, which is an understandable limitation. I'll be very interested to see how future iterations of the tech handle this challenge.

in kite (1998) oburi’s poster starts off as depicting a completely normal photorealistic buster keaton but by the end of the movie the image gets distorted and reads “Burst Peaton” . i have no idea what this means

Right now this particular one seems to fail at photorealism but excel at paintings. These are some where I asked for sci-fi book cover art. I do think it's possible that, say, book publishers would basically never pay a non-big name artist for this style of sci fi art anymore.

Alright, who gave Buddy Pink a photorealistic lemon?
There's no way she could possibly eat that whole thing.
Unless... I have yet another Buddy Pink animation for today?

Oh no.

“Alter Ego” by RawGalleryNFT photorealism genius Sisi Painter . This is currently the only 1/1 available for Sisi on but we may release a set of editions for her soon. Quite possibly the best charcoal artist I’ve ever seen. 🎨💃🤯
