I love what they did with the redesigns for boss reploids in Maverick Hunter X. They were already good, but I they leaned more towards the animal's traits and proportions than the basic humanoid reploid build, which makes each of them more unique

@venuswhxre even just looking at my drawings, people act as if both of these were equally realistic. obviously, they're not; one has non-human proportions and shouldn't be used as an accurate picture of a person, yet for some reason people expect it to be our accurate picture of dream
Arbok is another one of those Pokémon that’s ALMOST a real animal but isn’t quite right. The almost dinosaurian teeth and weirdly chunky proportions make it stand out more than it would if it were literally just a cobra and I prefer it that way. 7.5/10

@sen_sensational Depends on the texture of clothing to me a lot of the time, if I draw in any clothing wrinkles I circle them around the shape with shading, as well as emphasize the under portion with shading to bring out weight! I also keep the top a little lighter for that rounder feel!
