I always liked the look of this guy from Catacombs 3D, so I took a shot at redrawing the sprite in a higher resolution. The influence this guy had on later iD enemies is easy to see.

Last year, I attempted to get a closer look at the unique Snailicorn enemy from New Super Mario Bros. by increasing the game's internal resolution. Now, thanks to Models Resource member "lemurboy12", the model has been extracted, allowing us to finally see it from all sides.

You see your screenshots suck, you are losing the detail. I took a screenshots from MAME and SNES9X with square pixels and enlarged them 2000%. As you can see the SNES sprites are narrower and shorter with less resolution. Looks terrible in that pose: https://t.co/GXSHF6XW6Q
